The annual Asian Lantern Spectacular takes place at the Roger Williams Park Zoo & Carousel Village on 1000 Elmwood Avenue in Providence, Rhode Island. Attendees will be taking a coach bus and should expect to return around 10 p.m. Pick-up for the event will be at 2:30 p.m. “It’s a fun experience where you can take pictures and make memories.” 26 trip includes transportation and entrance to the event and a meal at Trattoria Zooma Restaurant. Recreation director Sherry Hill said this was a new idea she thought would be fun for residents. The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular celebrates 30 years of wowing guests with some 5,000 intricately carved pumpkins on Roger Williams Zoo grounds.
